Requirements for Applicants
To be considered for placement with Baby Nurses America, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- References: Provide verifiable references, including phone numbers and contact dates.
- Experience: Minimum of five years of experience or a minimum of 10 recent newborn care specialist jobs.
- Background Checks: Successfully pass all required background checks.
- Screening Process: Complete and pass our comprehensive screening process.

We require a minimum of five years of work experience. If applying for a Newborn Care Specialist job, we require experience with newborns birth to 3 months old.
BABY ZOOM CLASS – ENROLL TODAY
Start your career as a newborn care specialist with our industry-leading, hospital-based training, taught live via Zoom by a certified registered nurse. Our program covers all essential skills for infant care and complies with American Pediatric Association guidelines. Babysitters America Training is specifically for Nannies, Baby Nurses and Babysitters and teaches you the most vital areas of childcare. Safety & Security, Infant Care, Nutrition and Growth & Development. The courses are condensed Video Nanny Classes with exams to make sure your knowledge is retained. As you take each class and pass the exam with at least a score of 90%, you earn a Nanny Certificate that you can print and add to your resume. While training does not guarantee any jobs; this valuable curriculum will not only help you on the job but also gives you valuable subject matter when you are interviewing and clearly can differentiate you from your competition.
